The NEXT AIM MEETING will be WEDNESDAY June 23 - we'll meet at the Sycamore Sportsman's Club (1773 W. Motel Road, Sycamore, IL) for trap shooting from 6 - 7:30 PM. We'll then get together at the Portillos in Sycamore (1780 DeKalb Ave - next to Menards) at 8 PM for an "eat and meet" meeting to follow.
One topic for discussion will be the upcoming AIM Shotgun Clinic on August 7 at Aurora Sportsmans Club in Waterman, IL!

The ANNUAL FUN DUCK SHOOT on Sunday October 12, 2008 was a great success. Joan Alderden won the HANDMADE Quilt in the Raffle. Check out pictures! Thank you to the Aurora Sportsmen's Club in Sugar Grove, IL for co-hosting the event with AIM. The target presentations were fun and some very challenging. With 3 targets per pull, the pumps or semi-autos got their work-outs. Maybe next year someone will bring a lever action shotgun to add to the fun! The Quilt, for which tickets have been sold all year, was raffled off at this event. There were other great "bucket raffle" items. The FOOD was FANTASTIC, too (thank you Laura L.)!
